New Technology for Digital Marketing improvement: Seminars attended at Mobile World Congress 2017

Seminars attended at MWC 2017:


At the seminars you could learn more about the new technologies, tools, programs and how they should be best implemented and executed. It is a chance to learn more about the added value of each tool for your business and/or even private atmosphere.


There are some interesting tools and programs worth mentioning here, especially concerning digital marketing. These are as follows:


- Aisle411 Snapshot ---> Aisle411 is a retailer mobile app that allows shoppers to do indoormapping and search locations in stores. This app basically provides users a ´Shopper location´, ´Digital store map´, and ´Product location and search´ in stores. When stores / retailers implement this app for their store as part of the business strategy, soon they will learn that it maximizes consumer engagement as it enables comfort and convenience. This app makes it easy for shoppers to find products, especially in supermarkets and hypermarkets. It will trigger an increase in business. Another plus for retailers is that the app gives them an analytics overview, allowing them to know which items and brands are more sought after, in turn adapting this to the stock policy.


vSEC, Cloud Security----> this is a tool implemented for example by Cisco, Amazon, Microsoft Azure for their cloud services. It is to protect and safeguard data from cyber criminals. It provides adaptive security for dynamic clouds and advanced protection for any cloud and any service. Very important when handling customer data for digital marketing purposes, that you ensure data protection in order not to defraud your users unknowingly. 


-RCS Chatbots -----> emerged from a bot platform for messaging since nowadays online connectivity and mobile drives a significant share of sales and user engagement. The tool ´RCS Connector´ that enables the Chatbot function, provides anonymization, privacy, innovation and discovery analytics. Useful for all kind of businesses, including airlines, banks, restaurants, hotels, retailers even for healthcare, security and transportation services.


Digital Lifestyle tools

It is clear that technology and digital tools changed our lifes, even when we do not even know it or want to admit. Things that we do or use in our daily lifes, dramatically changed. The seminar ´Transition to a Digital Lifestyle´ presented more digital tools than we already are aware of that is used in our lifestyle nowadays. These tools, depending of your business industry, can be useful for your digital marketing plan. See below:


Before: 

- TV ----------> now Videos on Demand, via YouTube, MUBI or Voot as examples

- Taxi ---------> now Online Taxi Booking, via OLA or Uber as examples

- Physical Stores-> now eCommerce, like Amazon or Zalando

- Hotel --------> now Online Accomodation / Hotel Booking like AirBnB, Go or Cleartrip

- Bank branches--> now Online Banking, via mobile apps of banks like ING or CITI

- Text messages --> now Video Calls and Messengers, like Skype, Viber or Whatsapp

- Dating --------> now Online Dating, via datingsites and apps like Tinder

- Physically socializing> now Social Media, like Facebook or Instagram
